Synopsis
The film is set in an India of an unspecified future where crime, poverty and unemployment have proliferated beyond control. Feeling that overpopulation is the root cause of all problems, the pro-capitalist government launches a counteractive strategy which is clearly not in the favour of the common man. Is it moral to sugar coat the proverbial bitter pill? Does the end justify the means?
This film is not about or against overpopulation; it portrays how the greed of one percent of the populace cannot be satiated without the existing ignorance of the other ninety-nine. This satire is meant to provoke debate and discussion in the audience through a skilful play of irony and sarcasm.
