Synopsis

In 2011, a leading market research firm rated Ahmedabad as India’s best mega city to live in. With a continuous influx of business opportunities it is a challenge for city planners to utilise the city’s potential to its fullest.

The project objective was to analyse the current scenario of urban mobility and possible future scenarios through insightful design research, and apply the findings to design new mobility solutions for urban Ahmedabad for the year 2040. The major task was vehicle packaging which featured various futuristic concepts of transport in the context of family mobility, public mobility, shared space mobility and recreational mobility.
