Synopsis

The aim of this brief was to design a commercially viable range of home décor products for a niche market. The idea was to showcase the interaction of light with ceramics using the earthiness of the material in terms of the look and finish.

Options for pendant lights, wall lights, decorative tea lights and table lamps were generated using the peacock as a source of inspiration. The aesthetic appeal of the products was accentuated by the play of light. These easy-to-clean-and-install lamps with flexible mounting possibilities were designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
