Synopsis

The project aim was to conceive and develop designs for bedding collections based on uniquely different themes keeping in mind the international target market. A total of three bedding ensembles with matching curtains including assorted cushion sets were designed.

Various design directions led to the development of three themes inspired by the stone and marble sculptures of ancient Lycia; blue and white Chinese porcelain patterns and the intricate detailing of Indian stone lattice and filigree work: all of which were effectively translated onto the fabrics with the help of machine embroidery.
