Synopsis
UnBox Festival is an annual celebration of interdisciplinary thought and work, materialising through a series of seminars, performances, exhibitions and talks. For the year 2013, five host organisations mentored fifteen Fellows from India and the UK with completely different backgrounds and skill sets to come up with a design solution for socially-relevant problems in India.
This thirteen-minute documentary follows the footsteps of these Fellows on their journey throughout India. It aims to understand the dynamics of interdisciplinary co-ordinations and capture a work in progress. The treatment of the film – a vibrant and colour-rich approach, slow moving angular shots and a methodical edit – lent it a visual richness and rhythmic calm.
