Synopsis
In the face of a rapidly spreading urbanisation and the name of development and progress, farmers are losing their land, livelihood and lives all at once. Helpless, desperate and frustrated, these farmers often commit suicide.
Made using the traditional cell animation method, this film is about two parallel worlds and shows how one eats up the other through a metaphorical yet all too real example of parasitism. A farmer looks on in disbelief as his
beautiful and content little world is deformed and destroyed in front of his eyes. The use of charcoal imparts a raw intensity which aptly reflects the gravity of the issue of farmer suicides.
