Synopsis
This project was about designing bed linen (bed sheets, comforters, pillow and cushion covers, and curtains) for children of three to twelve years. The study of child psychology contributed heavily to the designing of the collection whose major theme was ‘Around the World’.
Breaking away from stereotypical designing of cars and trucks, a hot air balloon was used as a metaphor for new thoughts. To lend an educational touch and inspire in kids a sense of learning; to spark off their thought process and eventually broaden their horizons about different languages, culture and religion, were the aims behind the visual imagery used in each of the products.
