Synopsis
The search for a higher consciousness and spiritual fulfilment has been the quest of mankind ever since its birth. Can one attain the same through art, craft and music: especially by not following the conventional and hackneyed societal norms decreed for such arts? What drives these minstrels and artisans to withdraw from the mainstream society and express their philosophies through their art after having overcome their karmic sufferings? To provoke insightful thoughts thereof and arouse a fascination for such individuals in the hearts and minds of the audience was the aim of this documentary film.
This film takes a peek into the lives of four non-commercial artists – a potter, a sitar player, a bhajan singer and a flautist, each having his own unique philosophy of life.
