Synopsis
Innovative design research methodologies led to the designing of two posters plus detailed catalogues highlighting maternal and diabetic health. The content was formatted and portrayed in a simple yet provocative manner.
The final part of the project was a detailed case study on maternal health and making related provocative artefacts using propositional design. The first outcome was a ceramic horn designed for listening to the foetus’s heartbeat. The second outcome provided an audiovisual experience of the foetus’s heartbeat through a foetal Doppler and lastly a range of creative and innovative journaling artefacts was designed for expecting mothers.
