Synopsis

The project offered an opportunity to study the existing scenario of ENT diagnosis in hospitals and urban clinics, and to implement the use this technology and mode of diagnosis in a rural environment. The project aim was to design an examination tool that provides doctors with better visual access to the ear, nose and throat areas for early and accurate diagnosis.

The user interface, a vital part of the design was made to be simple enough for the rural health workers to use. For this a workflow similar to the one present in their mobile devices were used. The tool boasted an organic, ergonomic and ambidextrous design which made it extremely user-friendly.
