The objective of the project was to design a bridal jewellery collection in gold for today’s brides of India, comprising of mainly head, neck, ear and hand adornments. The project methodology included ethnographic research for target user group, brain storming and understanding the existing system involved creating mood-boards, concept board for the selected direction, colour, material, finish & style board for the selected direction, conceptualisation, doodling and creating final design presentation of the collection. The final outcome of the graduation project was pre-wedding, wedding and post-wedding bridal jewellery neckpiece and earring collection. The concept behind the collection was contemporary collection which can be worn again after the wedding ceremony for traditional or contemporary events in various ways.
