This project was about understanding and testing areas where Graphic Design could collaborate with Architecture and prove to be instrumental in bringing a more holistic approach to design. Work on these lines had been carried out in an architecture studio in Berlin; it attempted to understand the various means of communication that are required by architects, spotting the key areas where effective graphic design inputs could make a difference.

The project touched upon various areas of communication design such as Information Design, Publication Design, layouts, grid systems, in addition to corporate visual identity and website conceptualisation. It tried to test grounds where the fields of Architecture and Graphic Design, if used in cohesion, could lead to stronger and more powerful experiences.

The project tried to understand the core values of an architectural research studio and to visually represent the core ideology, essence, and architectural vocabulary of the studio through an effective visual medium. The core idea of the publication was to bring to light some qualities and stories of this project that were hidden in the process archive. The process of constructing the visual narrative and image selection were the next steps in this direction.

This project was immensely beneficial in understanding how two distinct disciplines could find a common ground through design applications.
