The Green Hub - Royal Enfield Responsible Tourism Fellowship Conclave 2024, held in Guwahati, focused on celebrating sustainable tourism and community-driven development in Northeast India. The fellowship empowers youth to engage with their cultural and natural heritage while promoting responsible tourism. Over two days, fellows presented their projects, showcasing their work through photographs, authentic food, traditional clothing, and mood boards. The second day involved pitching action plans to funders, aimed at fostering sustainable livelihoods and ecological security. My role encompassed exhibition graphics and spatial planning for the conclave, along with mentoring the fellows in creating site travel brochures. In the second part, the project proposed the creation of an ecomuseum in Dzongu, North Sikkim, focused on the Lepcha community's narrative. The initiative integrates sustainable tourism with local culture, aiming to create a community-centered space, blending traditional knowledge with ecological sustainability, and providing local treks and storytelling experiences.
