RideBuddy is an innovative project designed to enhance safety, service quality, and operational efficiency for taxi passengers and drivers through advanced interior vehicle monitoring. By collecting and analysing extensive data from both vehicles and drivers, RideBuddy provides valuable insights that improve overall transparency and service reliability. To fully utilise this data, we propose the development of a real-time dashboard that offers a comprehensive view of the entire taxi fleet. This dashboard will display critical information, including vehicle status, driver behaviour, and potential safety risks, enabling swift decision-making and proactive issue resolution. Fleet operators can use these insights to optimise resource allocation, improve driver performance, and enhance passenger satisfaction. By integrating data-driven monitoring with an intuitive management interface, RideBuddy ensures a safer and more efficient ride-hailing experience. This solution not only strengthens operational control but also contributes to a higher standard of service across the taxi industry.
