This institutionally sponsored project, in collaboration with NID Archives, focused on archiving, digitization, and exhibition design to showcase the works of Erroll Pires, a renowned textile designer and former NID faculty member.
Key activities included digitizing negatives, photographing artefacts, conducting video interviews, and curating a cohesive visual narrative. The project also involved photo editing, sequencing, printing, exhibition installation, and designing an exhibition catalogue.
The exhibition was developed collaboratively with Erroll Pires, NID faculty, textile researchers, and exhibition designers, ensuring an insightful and well-curated presentation. This project contributes to archival preservation, textile documentation, exhibition curation, and visual storytelling, offering valuable insights for industries in museum studies, heritage conservation, textile research, and exhibition design.
