This project explored storytelling through ceramics, using dinnerware as a canvas to represent the essence of four iconic Indian cities: Mumbai, Jaipur, Goa, and Varanasi. Each city’s design was uniquely crafted to reflect its cultural, historical, and visual characteristics, creating distinct narratives on the plates. The decals were designed to serve not only as decorative elements but as visual stories that connected users to the cities’ atmospheres. Augmented Reality (AR) was integrated to bring the designs to life digitally, enhancing the interaction and deepening the user’s connection to each city’s narrative. Additionally, a minor project focused on creating city-themed souvenirs, specifically tea lights inspired by iconic buildings from each city. While the project was canceled by the company, it continued independently, allowing for valuable experimentation with ceramic mold-making techniques and 3D printing, leading to the creation of the tea lights.
