In the age of smartphones and digital media, traditional physical play kits are facing increasing competition from interactive platforms that captivate children. The project sought to address the concern of excessive screen time by merging the best aspects of traditional toys with the advantages of modern technology. The result was the creation of innovative play kits that integrated smartphone technology to enhance hands-on play experiences. Aimed at children aged 3-6 years, the project combined the developmental benefits of physical play with digital interactivity, creating an engaging and balanced learning environment. Products such as audio-supported flashcards and AR-enhanced craft kits were developed to stimulate cognitive growth while encouraging social interaction. By using a user-centric design approach, the project successfully introduced phygital (physical and digital) play solutions that support children's milestones and development in the modern digital age.
