Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) previously faced challenges with a fragmented onboarding process across its products, leading to user confusion, information overload, and slow adoption. To streamline this experience, we developed Ever-boarding, a continuous and user-friendly onboarding framework designed to cater to both new and migrating users. By allowing customization, users can tailor their onboarding journey based on their preferences, ensuring a more personalized experience. Information is delivered in bite-sized modules to prevent overwhelm, while integrated microlearning and in-app tutorials enhance feature discovery and overall learnability. Ever-boarding also enables users to seamlessly pick up where they left off, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted learning process. This approach significantly improves user satisfaction, accelerates proficiency, and enhances productivity by making features more accessible and easy to use. Ultimately, Ever-boarding creates a consistent, engaging, and scalable onboarding experience across all NCM products, attracting new users and fostering long-term adoption.
