Henkel recently entered the electric vehicle (EV) battery market with a focus on battery passport technology, emphasising sustainable energy solutions and their active participation in the sector. The project began with a business brief, applying Henkel’s structured framework to achieve specific goals. Comprehensive research identified key concerns and established lines of inquiry, providing insights that guided the ideation process. Workshops with stakeholders leveraged Henkel’s four lenses: feasibility, desirability, viability, and Henkel’s right to win. Solution development used various tools and visualisation methods to align stakeholders and refine the concept. Challenges such as the novelty of the topic, cultural differences, and lack of established design systems were overcome through collaboration and support from teammates and seniors. The final outcome underscores Henkel's innovative spirit and dedication to advancing sustainable technologies, showcasing their leadership in the global market.
