This project aims to enhance the pharmacy experience for individuals with vision disabilities using Walmart's services in the USA. It begins with a thorough exploration of the pharmacy ecosystem, focusing on prescription management and the challenges faced by users with visual impairments. Through secondary research, literature reviews, and user interviews, the project identifies the unique needs of visually impaired individuals. The solution consists of a two-layer system designed to empower users to manage prescriptions independently. The first layer is a prescription scanner that reads aloud medication details, providing easy access to critical information. The second layer introduces voice commands, enabling users to navigate the Walmart app, refill prescriptions, and access pharmacy services without needing visual input. These features work together to create a more inclusive, accessible pharmacy experience, aligning with Walmart's commitment to meeting diverse customer needs. The project aims to enhance autonomy and satisfaction for users with vision disabilities, ensuring a better overall pharmacy experience.
