Maintaining long-term user engagement is a critical challenge in the fitness industry. Inconsistent attendance and lower renewal rates highlight this issue. Cult Social offers a solution that harnesses social connections to build a supportive in-app community focused on user success.. Effective social features require understanding user interaction and motivation within fitness communities (both online and offline). This project analysed existing cult.fit communities (like Facebook groups) and competitor platforms to identify key motivators and successful engagement strategies. The initiative's results include finding ways to incorporate social elements into cult.fit experiences, such as fitness partner matching, team exercises, challenges, social recognition, and groups. This project emphasises the need to leverage existing user data to personalise the fitness experience further. By analysing data points related to user preferences, cult.fit can develop more meaningful recommendations and bridge the experience gap, ultimately strengthening its position as a leader in holistic fitness solutions.
