The One Touch Washer Fascia project seeks to transform the laundry experience by designing a user-friendly interface for washing machines, focusing on both a Tangible User Interface (TUI) for the fascia and an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the controller. Many existing washing machine interfaces are cluttered and confusing, often filled with complicated controls and unclear settings. This project aims to simplify these interactions, making laundry tasks easier and more accessible for a diverse range of users, including busy families, household helpers, and tech-savvy millennials. By integrating tactile elements and clear visual cues, the TUI engages users and reduces cognitive load. The GUI will prioritize clean layouts, responsive feedback, and customization options to suit individual preferences. With a balance of practicality and visually appealing design, the project aspires to redefine the laundry experience, ensuring it’s not only efficient but also enjoyable and engaging for all users.
