This project is a two-phase initiative aimed at urban revitalization and cultural documentation in Kochi.
Phase One: As part of the Mayor of Kochi Design Fellowship, the project focused on design-led tourism strategies for Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, and Cherlai. Through research, community engagement, and stakeholder interviews. It identified potential tourist destinations and proposed enhancements for civic well-being. The final strategies were presented at the Kochi Mayor's Office.
Phase Two: The "People of Kochi" project is a photographic and narrative archive, capturing portraits and personal stories to highlight Kochi’s identity and cultural diversity. The project culminates in a web archive, offering an immersive platform for exploring local narratives.
This work contributes to urban design, cultural tourism, and digital storytelling, offering insights for industries in city planning, heritage conservation, documentary photography, and community-driven tourism initiatives.
