The project focused on blending Rajasthan's traditional hand-painting and floral motifs with contemporary women’s fashion to create collections that bridge cultural heritage with modern aesthetics. The target demographic was modern women who value traditional craftsmanship but require garments suited for current fashion trends. It resulted in 26 ready-to-wear ensembles for Autumn/Winter 2023, aligning with Aachho's brand identity. Research into market positioning, consumer behavior, and trends guided the design process, which incorporated Rajasthani crafts, hand-painting, and surface ornamentation. The designs were developed through extensive sampling and prototyping, ensuring the integration of traditional techniques with high-quality fabrics. The project culminated in a photoshoot for e-commerce and marketing purposes, showcasing the collection. This graduation project provided valuable industry exposure, allowing experimentation with textiles, silhouettes, and innovative design, while successfully delivering a collection rooted in cultural significance and meeting modern fashion needs.
