Design and Execution of Rammed Earth Wall Textures for Shura Islands
Rammed Earth,Sculpture DesignTexture DesignSustainable ConstructionArchitectural Innovation
The rammed earth texture design project integrated creativity, sustainability, and engineering to create innovative construction solutions. The project focused on developing rammed earth texture designs for walls that met both aesthetic and structural requirements, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional materials like concrete. During research, a new material mix was developed to achieve the desired visual qualities while ensuring load-bearing capacity, aligning with modern sustainability standards. The project also included a sculpture proposal, adding an emotional and artistic dimension to the design. Looking ahead, the project explores the potential for this material mix to become a mainstream eco-friendly option in construction, offering both functional and environmental benefits. By combining texture design with sustainable materials, the project laid the foundation for future architectural advancements, pushing for greener, more innovative building practices.
