Cloud migration involves moving users, apps, and data to the cloud, offering benefits like faster scaling, affordability, improved performance, and increased productivity. Atlassian’s Cloud Migration Assistants (CMA) facilitate migrating server and data center data to the cloud. The Migrations Dashboard is a key touchpoint where users interact with the migration process. This project focuses on enhancing the dashboard UX to address key issues: Findability – users struggle to locate plans as their number grows; Planning – the dashboard lacks essential scheduling and prioritisation support; Sense of Progress – unclear progress tracking affects user confidence; Ambiguity – large migrations create uncertainty about system functionality. Key opportunities include improving plan discovery, enhancing user confidence during migration, supporting migration planning, and providing clear progress indicators. By optimising the dashboard UX, the project aims to create a seamless migration experience, ensuring efficiency, clarity, and user trust.
