The journey begins with a deep dive into extensive research, including a thorough examination of the impact of digital games on child development and the significance of intrapersonal skills in children's holistic growth. The research also explores the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's social and emotional development, highlighting the increasing relevance of educational games in today's world.
The project then transitions into a meticulous market analysis, investigating existing educational game platforms like Sago Mini, Kiddopia, and Papumba. It identifies successful strategies employed by these platforms to engage and educate children effectively.
Prototyping and play-testing comes next which becomes an iterative phases, fine-tuning game mechanics and interactions according to the comprehension level of children aged 3 to 8. These tests are conducted on various devices, including iPads, iPhones, and web platforms, with over 20 children participating.
