This project focuses on developing action games with player elimination mechanics tailored for children aged 7-13, aiming to offer a safer and more enjoyable gaming experience. Acknowledging the frequent portrayal of violence in many games for this age group, the goal is to create non-violent alternatives that provide fun and excitement, making them both parent-approved and child-friendly. The game mechanics emphasize thrill without aggression, incorporating strategy-based challenges, cooperative missions, and creative problem-solving tasks to promote positive interaction. The project focuses on exploring innovative conflict resolution methods, such as teamwork and tactical gameplay, to replace violence. Extensive playtesting with the target audience ensures that the games are engaging, educational, and fun. Feedback from both children and parents is continually integrated into development to refine the game mechanics and user experience. This project aims to set a new industry standard by proving that action-packed, multiplayer games can be both thrilling and age-appropriate for young audiences.
