IFB Home Appliances, a division of IFB Industries Ltd, manufactures a range of products, including washing machines, dishwashers, microwave ovens, air conditioners, and cooking appliances, from its Goa facility. In 2022, during my internship, IFB was preparing to enter the refrigerator market with budget-friendly direct cool models and mid-range frost-free options. To support this launch, IFB aimed to refresh its visual language for Point of Purchase Displays (POPs) and Point of Sale Materials (POSMs). The objective was to modernize the brand’s identity while maintaining its core essence, creating designs that felt sophisticated, premium, and engaging. The new approach incorporated quirky, attention-grabbing elements to enhance retail visibility. A key focus was on crafting compelling iconography and leveraging composition techniques to guide the viewer’s eye effectively, ensuring maximum impact and engagement in retail spaces.
