In today’s competitive environment, where academic achievement often outweighs the importance of play, Indian children are left with little room for relaxation. While many educational toys and games are available, they often fail to engage children in a meaningful way, neglecting the crucial need for downtime. This project focuses on children aged 6-8, a group transitioning from preschool to primary education, and aims to balance their educational needs with the benefits of play and relaxation. By investigating children’s daily routines, stress levels, and the role of parents and educators, the project will explore the current toy and game market to identify gaps. The outcome will be the creation of innovative toys and games that combine education with stress relief, offering stimulating and enjoyable play experiences. Ultimately, the project strives to enhance children’s development by fostering healthier routines and reducing stress through thoughtful play.
