Climate change is a natural process that occurs on Earth during its life cycle. Unfortunately humans have become one of the catalysts in speeding this irreversible process. In recent years we have experienced many of its outcomes such as global warming, sea level rise, frequent and unusual air current forming cyclones and rain patterns, leading towards drought and water scarcity all around the globe.
But on the other hand there is a threatening crisis which affects agriculture on a large scale. Agriculture is one of the primal activities which contributed to the evolution of human civilizations and development. Recent natural changes and its outcomes have drastically altered the act of agriculture. And moreover we are being forced to develop new methods for food production which could also diminish agriculture. The problem which some of the recent studies shows is that with the prevailing climate change with more human contribution could possibly make it impossible to maintain the ideal environment for farming. This can even result in losing this ancestral knowledge with imbalance in the ecosystem and ultimately forgetting agriculture.
This film is setup in a world which is already a victim of all the climate change and its post effects. My take on this scenario is to understand on how a civilization tries to rebuild from scratch in its new normality.
