This project aims to create an interactive installation that talks about our individual and collective ways of being. At the core, this interactive installation intends to put out a message to people - how the simplest and smallest of individual decisions emerge into bigger collective behavior patterns of a group or a society.
The project explores various ways to do that on a spatial scale by exploring various narratives, experimenting with suitable technologies and creating prototypes of substantial fidelity to demonstrate the concept developed. The final outcome of the project is an interactive installation where people are able to respond to simple everyday questions and place their impression on the display. The impressions placed by people evolve and morph amidst others and at the end of the day a particular pattern of impressions emerge to be dominant. Which kinds of impressions dominate the display say something about our collective ways of being as the impressions are generated based on the unique responses received from each individual.
