Live Ops UpdatesPlayer Lifecycle Optimization
Farm simulation games thrive on engaging mechanics and live community-driven gameplay, with FarmVille pioneering the genre. However, a major challenge arises as elder-level players (level 20+) exhaust core gameplay content, leading to stagnation in engagement and declining retention. Without live ops updates, progression-based content, and late-game incentives, even dedicated players lose interest, impacting active user base metrics and long-term monetization. This project explores strategies to introduce new content, production loops, and dynamic live events tailored for elder-level players in FarmVille 3. By leveraging game economy balancing, player segmentation, and engagement-driven content design, the study proposes scalable content expansion, such as high-tier production buildings and seasonal challenges, to sustain retention and optimize player lifecycle value. Through data-driven content strategy and feature innovation, this project aims to enhance long-term engagement, reduce churn, and reinforce FarmVille 3’s market longevity.
