This project focuses on the design of an innovative rehabilitation system combining gamification with the HExo Assistive Motion Exoskeleton by Cre-AID Labs, aimed at enhancing the recovery process for patients with upper-body musculoskeletal conditions. By integrating interactive, engaging games specifically designed for elbow joint rehabilitation, the system ensures personalized care, sustained motivation, and patient enjoyment throughout their physical recovery. The project also includes the development of a digital application that integrates with the exoskeleton, allowing patients and healthcare professionals to track progress, visualize movement metrics, and access rehabilitation games. With gamified elements such as leaderboards, badges, and quests, the system motivates patients and promotes an active rehabilitation process. Ultimately, the project aims to improve the quality of life for patients by assisting in their recovery journey, fostering greater independence in daily activities, and facilitating long-term physical rehabilitation.
