The Human race is suffering severe health issues and pandemics. Mohi, an old and wise scientist takes up the cause into her own hands and travels back in time to groom the young intelligent minds who shall become the leaders later and change the community to build a better future.
EKTA BHALO SHURU (A Good Start) is a 2-D animated short film made as the final submission for the graduation project. Cleanliness and health go hand in hand, a simple fact that humans know better but still ignore in their everyday normalcy. We are aware of the health hazards that the world is facing. We have reached a point where a U-Turn seems difficult, but not impossible. We must push each other in order to become better citizens who are more sensitive towards nature. All of these morals and ethics in the character are built from a young age. In schools, we were taught about how cleanliness is important, and we must never interfere with nature but, with time and age, we forgot.
The COVID Outbreak was a punch in the gut for the entire human race. It brought us back to the basics of maintaining a clean environment to control the spreading of the virus. We revisited the teachings and tackled the virus. Children in school were made aware of this situation too—they knew and understood what was good for them. Our scientist Mohi's mission is to make these children of immense leadership qualities stay rooted and drive the change in their communities and become better leaders with a sustainable and clean future in mind tomorrow.
