In this graduation project, as a passionate visual designer, I had the exciting opportunity to work on creating a captivating visual identity, packaging design, and promotional campaign for 'Supernaturals' ice cream, a sugar-free, healthy and delectable product line by Naturals ice cream. The parent company 'Naturals' ice cream, is renowned for crafting frozen treats from naturally acquired fruits and other wholesome ingredients.
To begin the project, extensive research was conducted, both through secondary sources and primary interactions, to gain insights into the market and target audience. Our findings guided us in choosing the ideal sub-brand name, 'Supernaturals,' which encapsulated the essence of a sugar-free ice cream that offers a healthier alternative.
The first step in the branding process was designing a logo that would convey the core values of Supernaturals. It was crucial to create a visual identity that evoked a sense of health consciousness while maintaining a strong connection to the parent company. Through meticulous iterations, we developed a logo that subtly hinted at the brand's commitment to leading a healthier lifestyle, using elegant typography and incorporating nature-inspired elements.
With the logo in place, the focus shifted towards crafting a captivating packaging design for the Supernaturals ice cream boxes. The design of the box incorporated vibrant colors, eye-catching illustrations, and clear labeling highlighting the absence of added sugar.
Throughout the project, we engaged in multiple stakeholder presentations and welcomed valuable feedback. This iterative process ensured that the branding elements resonated with both the target audience and the overarching vision of the Naturals brand. The project evolved as we integrated the insights gained from various perspectives, resulting in a successful and cohesive branding strategy for Supernaturals.
