This project is focused on providing a seating solution for the particular activity of a guitarist playing and resting on a stool while performing. The idea is to design a stool and a guitar stand for two segments of user requirements which are: practice and perform. These two scenarios gave the student an opportunity to study different directions and provide two solutions based on the activity and purpose of the product in its setup.
The aim is to provide design solutions that fit these requirements of different sets of users catering to mid-level income groups as well as for shows and events gigs where the performance and the setup have high aesthetic value. The process guided the student in making the right design decisions, and the research and case studies helped him understand the user requirements at a macro level to provide better results.
