The project is a documentation of the student’s Graduation Project at Kria (formerly Krea), a luxury furniture brand based in Gurgaon. He interned at Kria for approximately 6 months wherein he was tasked with many responsibilities, majorly including CMF design work for furniture set to be released along with Kria's new website. Creating a new standardised system of selecting upholstery colours for furnitures was one of the primary agendas of the project. Devising this system required thorough research of topics like furniture and upholstery compatibility, CMF trends, colour trends and brand studies. Other tasks included making prints for Kria inspired by Indian flora and fauna, developing wood cutting patterns and a couple of client projects. The documentation explains the student’s detailed thought process while selecting upholstery for furnitures (CMF), research and takeaways, a glimpse at the products that he worked on with the output and the idea behind it.
