The project is focused on developing a set of desk-ware accessories for the modern home and for users who have had to work-from-home in the past year. It began with a study of who uses desks at home and of the activities and amenities on the desks to identify the areas to cater to. This study helped govern later design decisions.
A range of items were proposed in a set of multi-purpose objects that can be customized to make smaller collections within themselves. The production technique used for the objects is slip casting, and the surface ornamentation is done using colored slip, glazes and “wax-resist”.
