The project is focused on the development of a range of ceramic transfers for the studio potters of India and starting a small studio in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. The objective was to create a series of various screen printed transfers which will provide anyone with the ability to create printed ceramic ware and to be able to make a product /tool which will be an addition to a potters toolkit.
It began with the study of the origins of ceramic transfers and the origins of silk screen printing and the various processes that go into creating a silk screen print in the most basic and accessible manner. All the processes were done with keeping accessibility and convenience as the main factors. Her journey is supported with insights, tips, tricks and hand drawn illustrations to keep the entire experience as personal as possible.
