'Megumi ' means Graceful in Japanese. Megumi is a collection of glass jewellery inspired by women's natural elegance. Through a variety of statement items, the collection's primary objective was to highlight the women's graceful and experimental side. Flamework method was used to create a number of earring and neckpieces for this collection. It caters to ladies who are willing to experiment with their jewellery and fashion choices and are unafraid to wear bold, attention-grabbing pieces. Brass was utilised for all metal attachments, and the jewellery was crafted in Jaipur, a city with a long history of jewellery production.
As a student of industrial design for the past few years, I have focused mostly on a product's functionality. This project required a substantial leap of faith because I wished to investigate the premium market and the relationship between aesthetics and wearability. Throughout the duration of the project, I faced numerous obstacles and can sense how much I have learnt and grown as a result.
