This project was an attempt at revisiting the needs of students in institutional areas and re-imagining what Institutional furniture might look like, should a different approach be taken. As students spend a good quarter of their lives at school, schools can quite literally make or break a person’s character. While well designed spaces can make students involved and sociable, even increasing retention rates and aiding learning, non ergonomic, uncomfortable designs can make students resent their times at school, making learning a chore rather than something to be enjoyed. This project was an attempt to help Naman establish a niche in a competitive market by designing a range of unique and aesthetically unified range of furniture.
