Due to COVID-19, physical interaction between humans drastically decreased, and the world witnessed a surge in the adoption of video conferencing platforms. Education is undergoing a dramatic shift from classrooms and workshops to remote computer screens, and many students and teachers are struggling with this shift. Some students and teachers find the virtual interactions more appealing, while others view them as repulsive, thus creating a sense of seclusion.
The core idea of this project is to analyse the stakeholders from a user-centred design approach and ideate on enabling engagement and interactivity in online education. So that everything that we used to do in a physical classroom, we can do that all in a virtual classroom, giving a holistic classroom experience and making learning and teaching more engaging and collaborative.
The project aimed to derive critical insights, conceptualize and design a user experience, thus filling the gaps and addressing anxieties surrounding online education, and reinventing online teaching and learning methods.
