Soni (8) is an exceptional, free-willed, and spontaneous girl who loves the ocean and believes in a story told by her grandmother years back about a divine blue whale who is taking care of her missing father.
Meanwhile, her mother Sarita (32), who is still not over the loss of her husband, is planning to sell the old house they live in and go far away as nothing is left there after the death of her husband.
One day Soni gets a stone on a seashore, similar to the one in her locket. The stone brings a memory of her father to the surface. She remembers the story told by her grandmother about how to meet the Divine blue whale. She follows the story of her grandmother, and she starts getting more stones, and each stone brings back a fraction of the memory of her father. Soni has collected all those stones. She believes that she will get to meet the blue whale soon.
But she realizes that they are to leave the house the very next day. Soni is shocked and frightened because she believes that she is very close to meeting the blue whale and eventually her father. Will she be able to meet the blue whale or will it just be an unfulfilled wish?
