Designwise India is a platform that stands firm in its vision of beautifully handcrafted metal products. Designwise India's initial brief stated the need to design a collection of desktop accessories in the existing collection. The possibilities of interpreting the brief differently and redefining what the client needed came about.
After reaching Designwise India and talking to Mr Mukul Goyal, the difference between the evident need of the company and the possibility of creating something more became obvious. The aim became to develop a range of products to be positioned and packaged as a product of Designwise but focusing on a specific target group.
It was essential to understand customer motivation and intention for buying from Designwise India. The student had speculated the possibilities of linking their inputs using customer psycho-graphics to define customer buying behaviour. This helped build a context for the brand goal to the end product.
While on the project, the student was constantly motivated to make decisions and find their means of developing contexts. The need to ask the right questions to achieve end objectives and to understand the role of design as a business tool became a vital part of learning at Designwise India.
