This project is a curated design creation by hands-on involvement of the student as per the needs of the sponsor. The aim of this project was to explore new avenues in pre-existing techniques and practices. This project has been time taking and process sensitive. Mindful of the sensitivity, a craft collaboration has to be dealt with thoughtfully and has to work with the fast paced requirements of the industry.
This project documents the entire process involved in the project - from ideations to the end product - which could easily be two standalone projects-one that of prints and the other of woven yardages.
The project has had its fair share of roadblocks and ups and downs, some of which were dealt by the student individually and others with the help from the faculty guide and mentor and peers. The project, although presented by one individual, is cumulative of a lot of cooperation and patience in a time sensitive yet volatile environment.
