Video calls have become a part of our daily lives covering a range of activities from talking to our loved ones, discussions on work, job interviews to even a real estate sale. With the COVID pandemic bringing in a paradigm shift in the realm of digital connectivity, video calling platforms have seen a tremendous surge in usage and acceptance rate. Gone are the days when video calls were just about the occasional skype calls. With 4G connectivity becoming commonplace, platforms have been pushing boundaries of creativity, making video calls more interactive and engaging- we can now play games over a video call on Houseparty, send stickers and emojis or try out filters while on an Instagram call. Now the future is waiting for more high-speed internet and 5G is expected to be in the Indian market very soon. With that in mind, leveraging 5G to multi-task seamlessly with the help of AI/ML and IoT technologies will be the new development. The project aims at leveraging 5G speed to help users reminiscence nostalgic memories with fellow users in a more seamless way and allow users to be connected more effectively. The concept developed eliminates the need of installing any third-party application, rather than video calls that will happen from a phone network using the native phone application.
