Info Edge is India’s premier online classifieds company in recruitment, matrimony, real estate, education and related services. Infoedge is in the matching business first and foremost Naukri.com has been Infoedge’s premier online product and has been the dominant leader in the recruiting space for many years. Naukri.com is Infoedge’s biggest digital product and is currently the market leader in terms of market share among recruitment platforms based out of India Naukri.com caters to a vast array of job seekers across verticals for job hiring & covid-19 has disrupted the normal hiring across the domains. The Covid-19 brought along massive changes like lay-offs, hiring freeze, cost cutting for companies. Massive shift to work from home practices emerged, Covid transformed the way people worked, communicated & hired. Even when hiring opened, new channels & practices of hiring, like digital assessments, remote screening & online assessments & digital background checks are being adopted. The focus of the project is to understand, predict & to create a proposal of how to make Naukari.com equipped for the new post-covid world. The objective is to understand how recruitment works. Understand the impact of covid on recruitment in short term & long term and its effect on various stakeholders. Map out the practices & understand how covid has impacted practice & behaviour changes Align them with the business of Naukri, to create solutions which focus on- Immediate need & solutions that would need to be a part of Naukri, due to long term behaviour changes. The student Ipsha Chaudhary has attempted to tackle all of these in this project and has successfully deluvered.
