This project aimed at creating furniture that conformed to the studio's love for wooden joinery while keeping in mind the difficulties in its manufacturing capability and availability of material brought about by the current pandemic. The lockdown resulted in the need for the prototype to be built at home. The student worked from a temporary workshop set up at home and it helped him develop a wide list of local vendors and artisans with who he would be able to collaborate in the future. The final outcomes presented two refined cabinet designs, a liquor cabinet and a sideboard, both of which offered their own challenges and learning to help one grow as a designer.
