Through this project the student designed a range of living room furniture taking into account the global markets. The range included a coffee table, a side table, a record player console, a lounger, and an ottoman. The product range originated from a singular concept and the materials used were simple, sharp, and cohesive. The challenge was to design unique products for the brand considering the limited manufacturing capabilities and the brand’s material knowledge. The product range is bright, warm, and simple but it has a refined reflection of inspiration. The pieces themselves become a conversation starter and overall, the concept aims to maximize the visual and physical experience with the minimum usage of material.
